iPad 3 Eventual Specs and Release Date

Some reports claim that the next generation iPad might have more pixels per inch and a high resolution screen of 2048×1536 (4 times as much as the iPad 2).
If Apple will keep the 9.7-inch display size, the new iPad might get thicker (+ 1mm) in order to incorporate its improved battery and high res display panel.

Processor

The iPad 3 might feature an improved quad core A6 processor, making it way more quicker and smoother than other tablets.

Operating System

It is pretty much certain that the iPad 3 will come with iCloud technology, Siri, the new iTune Match, face recognition and new apps, such as the Spotify iPad app.

Camera

It is expected to have a 8MP camera for improved video recording and photo quality.

Connectivity

Some rumors also suggest that it will have the Long Term Evolution, 4G LTE technology.

Battery Life

The battery is believed to get a touch up, increasing its capacity from 6500mAH to 14.000mAh. This is a must taking into consideration its eventual high resolution display and other improvements, like the 8MP camera, face recognition, 4G LTE, Siri etc.
